Aqila Saleh: Erdogan and al-Sarraj seek to plunder Libya’s fortunes

At a time when Fayez al-Sarraj, the leader of the Tripoli militias, sold his country to the Turkish invader Erdogan, the Libyan people only came to meet the heart of one man in the battle of dignity to liberate the country and preserve its wealth.
The Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, Aqeela Saleh, stressed that the Turkish agreement with Al-Sarraj aims to support armed militias and complete the plunder of Libya’s wealth. Aqila Saleh, in his speech to the Arab Parliament session held in Cairo, added that the international community installed a presidential council in Tripoli that granted Turkey the right to invade the country.
Aqila Saleh confirmed that the Al-Sarraj government did not take the constitutional oath before the parliament as stipulated in the political agreement, calling on the Arab Parliament to withdraw recognition of the Al-Sarraj government. The Libyan official considered that the Skhirat agreement no longer exists on the ground, as it stipulated the withdrawal of militias from all cities.
The Speaker of the Libyan Council of Representatives stressed that the international community’s continued recognition of the Al-Sarraj Council is not in the interest of the Libyan people, pointing out that the term of the Presidential Council in Tripoli ended long ago.
It is another aspect of the Libyan battle, then, to push the international community to withdraw its support for the traitor Al-Sarraj, who conspired with Erdogan to restore the Ottoman occupation of the Libyan territories.
